Big Bang’s G-Dragon is currently serving in the military but it seems like he injured his right ankle!
According to Allkpop, the incident took place sometime in April, just barely two months after enlisting in his mandatory service.
On May 17th, 2018, reports say he was brought to a hospital in Seoul and the doctor has advised him to undergo surgery for the injury.
Unfortunately, the injury isn’t due to his military activities but he has been suffering pain in that same place for quite a while now.

Perhaps the constant marching, running and training has put too much strain on his hurt ankle which is why he must resort to such a treatment now.
It is unclear whether undergoing this surgery will prolong his service duration or affect it in anyway.
Regardless, we hope that the surgery goes well for G-Dragon and that he will recover well too.
