Preach! We stan!

This year’s Best Film at the Golden Globes was crowned to a Korean film that dominantly delivered to the viewers in  its native language. Collecting an astonishing success of $23 million gross in the United States alone, ‘Parasite’  had claimed the prize for foreign-language film.

After his one liner that called out the American moviegoing public’s perceived aversion to subtitles, the hall immediately came to a roar of cheers and applause, proving his message was delivered effectively.

His message has only only touched the hearts of the viewers but also became a viral content that had been roaming around the Internet ever since the video was uploaded online!

Maybe this is a sign that we are moving forward as a society and finally accepting language is never a barrier.
