Aeroplane Makes Emergency Landing Due to Man’s Horrible Body Odour

Body odour is something we typically cannot smell in ourselves because we’re so used to the scent. It’s the people around us who end up becoming the poor victims instead.

However, nobody’s scent has probably ever caused an emergency landing up until now.

According to Express, a Transavia flight was headed towards the Spanish island of Gran Canaria Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands but had to make an emergency landing due to ‘medical reasons’.

Apparently, one of the passengers smelt so bad that other travellers started to puke!

Witness Piet van Haut from Belgium described the horrid stink.

He said,

“It was like he hadn’t washed himself for several weeks. Several passengers got sick and had to puke.”

The flight attendants tried to quarantine the smelly man inside on of the toilets until the pilots finally decided to divert the plane.

The Boeing 737 landed in Fargo, Portugal, to remove the man from the aircraft. Pictured above is the man being escorted out by medical personnel.

A representative of Transavia told the press,

“The aeroplane diverted because of medical reasons, but it is indeed right that he smelled quite a bit.”

However, it was unsure of why the man stink so bad or did he smell that way even before boarding the plane.

Apparently, this isn’t Transavia’s first smelly incident either. A passenger could not stop farting and caused the place which was headed to Amsterdam from Dubai to make an emergency landing in Vienna, Austria.

A fight broke out because of the flatulence.
