29-year-old Kang Dae Sung will be enlisting into the army soon. Better known as Daesung of Big Bang, he is the fourth member to enlist into the army.
2018 seems like a pretty heart-wrenching year for VIPs as Daesung is the third member to enlist this year.
According to Allkpop, the singer will be joining on March 13th, 2018, just one day after Taeyang’s enlistment date which is March 12th.
YG entertainment mentioned Daesung planned to join the army at the same time as other Big Bang members. Because G-Dragon and Taeyang were enlisting this year, Daesung applied for a similar date too.
In fact, even Seungri, the youngest member of the popular group, has expressed his interest akin to Daesung’s too. However, he wasn’t able to join the army at the same time as his hyungs due to work.
YG Entertainment reported,
“Maknae Seungri also wanted to enlist at the same time as the members.
“However, because of promotions for his Chinese movie ‘Love Only’, as well as his solo album that he’d been preparing, he’ll be enlisting afterwards.”
Besides, Seungri will also be starring in a sitcom-variety show called YG Future Strategy Office. The show will be shown exclusively on Netflix.
On a separate account as reported by Koreaboo, fellow member T.O.P who is the first to serve in the army decided to take time off from his service to spend time with G-Dragon before his enlistment on February 27th.
