“I Feel the Emptiness from Every So Often…” – Taemin on Jonghyun’s Absence

It has been more than a year since SHINee’s Kim Jonghyun’s leave from the world and for many, the wounds are still in the process of healing.

Though fellow SHINee member, Taemin, has also moved on for the most parts, he still finds it to be a difficult time when the memories resurface, Koreaboo wrote.

In an interview for his second mini album titled “Want”, he said,

“I feel (the emptiness) from every so often. It comes to me all of a sudden. I’m okay most of the time but still, it comes to my mind from time to time.”

Nevertheless, the rest of SHINee decided to continue on with activities as usual. They hope that by doing their best, fans would still treat them the same with full of love and support like before.

“Last year, SHINee released 3 albums. I think we thought (of him) more during those times. We thought, ‘Let’s show them rather than hide it’.

“We talked amongst each other that we should act the same way and hoped that people would treat us the same way too.”

Plus, each member will enlist into the military in the near future. Starting with Onew who went into the army on December 10th, 2018, the rest will follow suit soon.

Taemin added,

“We will promote together when everyone is back from the military.”

Indeed, it is something to look forward to when SHINee reunites after everyone has returned.
