Alif & Sofia, produced by Primeworks Studios and Blindspot Studios collabs with Persatuan Tadika Islam Malaysia (PERTIM) to come up with Simulasi Haji Cilik 2019 on August 1st.

Alif & Sofia, a 3D-animated series available on YouTube, featuring wholesome Islamic contents for today’s preschoolers.

Simulasi Haji Cilik is a practical learning session specially curated to give early exposure to kids about the performing of Hajj, the fifth pillar of Islam. The mock Hajj pilgrimage are recreated within the grounds of Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque, where over 3,000 kids attired in Hajj garments are guided by teachers to perform their little pilgrimage.

Founded by PERTIM in 2015, this marks the first year that Simulasi Haji Cilik collaborated with Alif & Sofia on a large scale.

A slate of Alif & Sofia episodes with Hajj themes and other Islamic contents such as the principles of Islam (Rukun Islam) and the principles of Hajj (Rukun Haji) were specially produced and recommended by PERTIM to their network of Islamic preschools as teaching materials in preparation for the practical session on Simulasi Haji Cilik‘s event day.
