With daughters (and son) as internationally glamorous as hers, it’s only natural for Kris Jenner to want to look just as fabulous, not just on the outside but also the inside.
Her 63 years of age certainly didn’t damper her spirits and she now looks as healthy and happy as ever.
So what is the TV personality and momager’s secret? It’s actually ust eating right and working out regularly.
Sounds easy, huh? Actually her diet and exercise habits require plenty of discipline.
Let’s see how she pulls it off.
Her day begins with coffee and a workout
She’s not like most people because instead of waking up at 7 or 8, she rises at 4am!
“I get up really early every morning at about 4 or 5, I don’t sleep a lot so I’m trying to get a lot done early morning,” she said. “I plan everything, make sure everything is fine all the way [while] I’m on the treadmill, I drink lots of coffee to get me going.”
Okay that is discipline, right there.
She’s consistent with her workout routine
The Kardashian-Jenner family is big fans of exercise. Of course, when you’re always under public scrutiny, you have to look good. Kris herself has found her own methods of keeping fit.
The mother of six exercises five to six times a week, focusing on a blend of lifting weights and resistance training.
Kris also has been seen on the reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashain joining her daughter Khloe Kardashian’s workout sessions.
Wanting to increase her stamina and energy, Kris also has opted for Pilates.
She has a personal chef
When you have the money, why not, ey? Rocco Dispirito is not only Kris’ personal chef, but he is also her weight loss coach. Bonus!
Apparently he sends food to her over in California daily for her to maintain her healthy eating habits.
We don’t know for sure what the menu is, but based on Kris’ Instagram, it most likely consists of fresh fruits, veges, lean meats and healthy grains.
She also follows his diet plan, “Pound A Day Diet,” which claims to promote quick weight loss.
An example of a meal is protein shake for breakfast, a salmon salad for lunch, and a stir fry for dinner, along with some healthy snacks.
Rocco says Kris’ goal isn’t to lose weight but rather maintaining it.
She also is a pro in the kitchen
Despite having a personal chef, Kris also has some notable cooking skills of her own.
If you watch Keeping Up With The Kardashian, you’ve probably seen her cook. She’s even written her own cookbook “In the Kitchen with Kris”.
In it you’ll see that she’s a big fan of hearty, home-cooked dishes like chicken soup, rice pilaf and cobbler.
Despite keeping a strict diet, Kris never forgets to indulge once in a while. “My ideal food day is just to stick to my diet! But in a dream world, I would probably start with a waffle or French toast, have a Chinese chicken salad from Chin Chin for lunch and end it with beef tacos, cheese enchiladas, rice and beans, and margaritas at Casa Vega, my favorite Mexican restaurant.” There you go!
She’s also a fan of cheese as well as carbs (who isn’t?) so her diet is not as strict as you think. Her key is to indulge in moderation.
