Check Your Voting Details With SPR’s Mobile Application

General election 2018 is coming up very soon and all eligible voters need to know our voting venues. Unfortunately, since the announcement of the voting day, the Election Commission of Malaysia’s (SPR) portal has been crashing due to overwhelming traffic.

To battle this issue, we can now simply use this new smartphone app to check all information. The app allows us to check our voter status, the district that we are placed in and the voting stations.

According to Oh My News, the first batch of voter details is now released by the government and had been uploaded to the official SPR website.

Eligible voters can check our status through the SPR official website or simply download the official SPR mobile application.

This app is available on both Google Playstore and iTunes Store! Just search for ‘MySPR SEMAK’ and click download. We can then access the information there.

After downloading the application, just key in our IC number and click ‘Semak’. Then, the page will redirect us to a new page that displays our IC number, full name, address, Congressional District, State Constituency, voting venue, etc.

If you need more information on the voting details, you can call to the headquarter of SPR commission at 03-88927141 and they will assist you.

GE14 will be held on 9th May 2018. The general election which happens once in every four to five years is back and eligible voters are encouraged to cast our votes.

Every vote matters.
