Yup, you read it right?
‘Nasi Goreng Pattaya’ is a dish that we are all well too familiar with! Despite its name, the fried rice surprisingly doesn’t even originate from Thailand, instead created in Malaysia itself.
The Pattaya-inspired fried rice is easily distinguishable from the rest as the fried rice is wrapped under a blanket of omelette, making the dish looking almost pillow-like.

▲ Nasi Goreng Pattaya is typically served with cucumbers on the side and drizzled with some chili sauce.
Every Malaysian must have at least eaten this fried rice once (or more) in their entire life. Usually this dish is a favourite among the young ones because typically ‘Nasi Goreng Pattaya’ isn’t prepared with a lot of spice. So, it’s a lot milder compared to the rest, hence making it suitable for the young taste buds.

But that doesn’t mean that it can’t be enjoyed by the grown ups too! Well, in fact there are people out there who swore by this dish and would literally order the same thing every single time they lepak mamak.
However, this one particular tweet from @nadudusheshe, caught the attention of many!
Typically, when one intend to spruce up their ‘Nasi Goreng Pattaya’ game, they would order maybe a fried chicken on the side or maybe add some spice into it.

Of course there are no rules when it comes to food but it’s just hilarious too see another fried egg was added to the already wrapped omelette in the dish.
Whether it is actually a brilliant discovery or pure gag, it is definitely one egg-ceptional decision! And under the thread, other people shared their funny experience too!
