Now We Can All Fly Like Ejen Ali Thanks to AirAsia’s New MATA Spy Jet!

Are you a fan of Ejen Ali and love to travel all around the world? Your chance is here as Air Asia just launched MATA Spy Jet with Ejen Ali theme on the plane! 

On March 22nd, 2018, Air Asia launched MATA Spy Jet, an AirAsia Airbus A320 decorated with Ejen Ali designs during a press conference today.

The launch is also a joint launching of #MisiAspirasiAirAsia campaign, a partnership between Ejen Ali and AirAsia that emphasises four values – being aspirational, thrifty, friendly and kind, that aim to inspire and empower more kids to be the future leaders of the world.

#MisiAspirasiAirAsia was a social media competition where parents submitted videos of their kids in action while representing the four heroic values.

The winner was revealed during the press conference and the lucky person to take home 1 million BIG points was Muhammad Adam Rashidi Bin Mohd Rafiq.

The top four Ejens were invited to a special visit to the Orion Home, a home housing 87 underprivileged children under the patronage of The Budimas Charitable Foundation located in Paroi, Negeri Sembilan.

They did many activities with the kids such as outdoor games, inspirational talk session by an AirAsia pilot and many more!

Besides, during the launch, Chief Executive Officer of Primeworks Studios, Ahmad Izham Omar said:

“The launch of the livery marks a momentous occasion for Ejen Ali, as the first Malaysian animation to be flying high with AirAsia.

“We take pride in being one of the leading flag-bearers of Malaysian animation and with Ejen Ali in the air, we hope more kids around the world will be charmed and inspired by this spunky hero to do great things.”

Chief Executive Officer of WAU Animation, Usamah Zaid Yasin also said:

“It is very gratifying to see the cartoon we’ve worked so hard to create ending up on an AirAsia aircraft.

“It gives us a profound acknowledgement that Malaysian animation has reached new heights that caters to new level of experience for the audience, beyond just entertainment.

“We hope this partnership opens up more windows for the industry to flourish.”

Lastly,  Head of Commercial, AirAsia Malaysia, Spencer Lee said:

“Children are very precious and AirAsia has always placed the importance in our young guests. The whole concept of #MisiAspirasiAirAsia is to encourage the younger generation to unleash their hidden talents in a fun way.

“At the same time, we hope to inspire them to be the future leaders of the world.

“This partnership with Ejen Ali has provided a fun experience to the younger generation through #MisiAspirasiAirAsia to chase their big dreams.

“We will continuously look for innovative ways to inspire future young leaders.”
