Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn made a sudden decision when he decided to “remove” the title of his newly bestowed royal consort, Sineenat Wongvajirapakdi.
According to NST, Sineenat Wongvajirapakdi, 34 years old who was a royal bodyguard of the king, was appointed as Queen of Consort on the king’s 67th birthday, making her the first “‘Chao Khun Phra”, a noble royal consort to be crest with such momentous title after a century.
Sineenat was crowned after the king got married to Queen Suthida Tidjai, 41 years old.
In an official statement released by the Thai Royal Household, Sineenat said to show”disloyal” towards the king and queen.
“Royal Noble Consort Sineenat is ungrateful and behaves in ways unbecoming of her title,” the statement said.
