“To walk  in a nature is to witness a thousand miracles”, the moment we stepped our foot to Mangala Resort and Spa, we were truly in awe with its glorious greenery surroundings. Later, we learned that the owner Dato Franky Chua is a devoted Green Panther. It is no surprise since he’s keen to build the resort using nothing but all natural and sustainable products. We were told that Dato Franky Chua initial plans was to build the gateway retreat for  his family to settle down, but what was supposed to be retirement plan turned to a whole beautiful nature-like resort owing to its breathtaking surroundings.

Our stay at Mangala won’t be perfect without the best dishes at Mangala’s restaurant, The Lakeside Restaurant. We were served with Mangala’s signature drinks, fresh Pandan Coconut Parfait. A little fun facts about Pandan Coconut. The trees were planted at the resort and the staff picked them up to serve the best and fresh pandan coconut drinks to the guests.  The drinks not only quench our thirst but it instantly warmth our hearts. 

We were served with Mangala’s signature dishes- Salmon Steak, Prawn Petai and Grill Satay. During the night, the staff and the chef served us with only the best Chicken Oyster Sauce, Fresh Vegetables, Butter Prawn and to top it all of, Mangala knows the way to the guests hearts through its special Deluxe Cheesecake with Strawberry Sauce, Hot Lattes and Cappucino.

The restaurant also offers sumptuous buffet and unlimited ala carte breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Guests can choose from the chef’s range of signature local and international dishes.
