Zendaya has made a name for herself ever since starring in Disney Channel’s sitcom Shake It Up 2010. Since then, she has gained major breakthrough in blockbuster films, The Greatest Showman, Spiderman and the latest HBO series, Euphoria. Her acting career has evolved throughout the years.
She has grown to be one of the most influential young actress in our generation, leaving her Disney Darling status far behind.
Not only she shines through her acting and singing career, but the 23 years old star has become actively involved as activist, fashion designer and role model. She has become the voice of young generations. The Europhia actress recently took home the most honorable award of the decade, the GQ Australia’s Woman Of The Year.
Despite her major success, the 23 years old startlet still managed to keep her head firmly on the ground, staying true to herself,
“I don’t really know what to say, it’s a huge honour. I feel like sometimes I go and I go, and I think a lot of us can relate to this, but you go so hard and you forget to stop and take in moments like this. Sometimes I work so much it can take over my life and I forget to be present in these kinds of moments where you can look around the room and just take it in, you know. And just be happy, and just be alive for a second.”
– Zendaya acceptance speech at GQ Australia’s Woman Of The Year
Just like any other 23 years old, Zendaya admit that life is a series of learning process, revealing that she’s still “figuring things out”, but the most exciting part is that “she’s only 23 and she’s just getting started”.
We have no doubt that there’s so much more in the store for this young lady right here. Congratulations, Zendaya. Keep on shining and inspiring all of us!
