Jonghyun’s Song ‘Moon’ Will be Sent to the Moon!

Death is most tragic when it is least expected. Indeed everyone was truly devastated when news of SHINee’s Jonghyun death broke out.

Now, after more than half a year of his passing, fans are finally coming to accept his absence on Earth. However, that doesn’t mean that anyone’s forgotten about him either.

Countless efforts from passionate fans have helped push Jonghyun’s name further into remarkable history even after his loss.

Project Mora is a plan to gather all sorts of digital contributions from across the world to be sent to the moon. Submissions for digital files will end this year and the project will land on the surface of the moon in early 2020.

They describe their project as,

“Engineered to withstand the harshness of space, Project Mora will lay dormant in a crater until the next generation of explorers discover the contents within.

“We want to tell the story that the textbooks of the future won’t.”

Many fans of the late singer requested that Project Mora send his song, Moon, to the moon, and they responded positively!

In a post from the project’s official Twitter, they stated,

“In response to the messages of goodwill to Jonghyun using #tweettothemoon, we’ll be sending the song “Moon” from his debut album to the surface of the Moon in 2020.”

To this, fans also requested for some of his other songs to be added into the space travel which promptly received another affirmation from them.

Meanwhile, many fans were touched by Project Mora’s willingness to add Jonghyun’s songs into their database.
