The night of the Drama Festival Kuala Lumpur (DFKL) Awards became the witness of Nur, the popular drama series as the winner of Drama of Choice, which totally met the public’s prediction!
Nur won a whooping six awards that night in the following categories; Script Writer, Director, Best Couple, Antagonist, Actor and the Drama of Choice.
The entire Radius One Sdn Bhd production are proud winners and it shows that their efforts are paying off.
The caption reads,

The director himself, Shahrulezad Mohameddin described this year’s victory as a blessing from Allah SWT. He said,
“Alhamdulillah, I am thankful for the win this year. This victory also represents the other script writers out there.
“I know many of you want to produce such a script too and I am very lucky to have won tonight.
“Many proposals like the Nur drama have been rejected, so tonight I represent the other directors in the industry too.”
Shahrulezad considers this success as a good start for the drama industry in the future.
The captions goes,

Meanwhile, the main actor of Nur, Syafiq Kyle manged to bring home the Actor of Choice and Couple of Choice Awards. He also thanked TV3 and the whole Radius One Sdn Bhd production.
“I dedicate this success to my parents who have always been praying for my success all this time.
“Thank you Abang Ezad for giving me the trust to take up Ustaz Adam. Alhamdulillah, which blessings of Allah would you want to deny.”
His speech received a soaring round of applause from the crowd.

The award was aired live from Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) and began with a performance from the singer, Hazama with his songs Opera Hidup and Panglipurlara.
Other performances made their way on stage including Pasya Mentor, Zaim, Hafiz Suip, De Fam and the legendary Anuar Zain!

Awal Ashaari hosted the award and was also praised as he successfully fulfilled his responsibilities in livening up the night.
