MONSTA X’s I.M Says He Loves Making Audiobooks to Help the Blind

Today, we are more aware about people with disabilities and we have many advanced technologies to aid them. For the blind, it is a different kind of world they live in for sure.

For those who are blind or have a lack of vision, they have to rely on different tools for everyday use. As such, MONSTA X’s I.M would love to record an audiobook to help the blind.

According to Allkpop, he recorded two Oscar Wilde stories not too long ago.

In an interview with MONSTA X about their upcoming comeback, I.M jokingly told the press,

“I think I have a voice that Naver chose. I participated because normally, you read books, but it’s new to hear books being read.”

Then, he seriously explained,

“There’s a big reason why I decided to participate. A large reason was to help the blind.”

The boy group’s rapper also has got the best English thanks to the fact that he grew up overseas mostly. Due to his father’s nature of work as a scientist, his family lived in Boston, U.S.A for 3 years and in Israel for 4 years.

In any English interviews, he usually takes the lead by answering and translating where possible.

Have you heard I.M’s previous recordings?
