Music has allowed people from different backgrounds to come together and what better way to help spread the love for certain songs than by sharing it onto our various social media platforms.
The current trend is to screenshot or screen-record whichever song we’re playing on Spotify and then share it onto our Instagram Stories or Facebook Stories
However, to battle these extra steps, Spotify has added a new function whereby users can immediately share the song onto our Stories! Woohoo!
This simple sharing process can be found in the “share” tab of the song. From there, you can choose to share to various platforms including Instagram and Facebook Stories.
A special difference for the Instagram Story is that you get to add custom art stickers for each song, album, playlist or artist before you post it up. Additionally, you can still use Instagram’s editing tools to add special touches to your posts.
Meanwhile, when you or your friends see any of these posts on Instagram itself, you can see “Play on Spotify” on the top right corner. Clicking that will lead you to the song directly on the music app!
The best part is, we don’t even have to connect our Facebook or Instagram accounts to Spotify to have access to this convenience. Just remember to update your apps.
