Is Someone Playing Jumanji Again In Terengganu?

What is actually happening in Kuala Terengganu?

Kuala Terengganu has been making headlines in these past few weeks, two months ago two tigers were seen roaming around the village, an ochra was spotted alongside Pelantar Dulang Petronas.

In the latest news, the panther spotted around Taman Harmoni, this protected species exposed as a death threat to the residents around the area.

According to New Straits Times, the panther reportedly were seen slinking around last month. One of the resident, Nur Mazila Mohd Salleh, 37  told Bernama,

“We’re living in fear and the children are now not allowed to play outside like before. We hope the panther will be caught soon so our lives can return to normal,”

The immediate action has been taken by Terengganu Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan), their staff were sent over to look into these matters.

However,  it is not a “Jumanji” joke anymore, this just shows that these species are in serious danger and what was once a home to them, is now no longer a safe place.
