Apparently, the news of a 13 year old boy who was caught by the Jakarta Police after he dresses up as Toyol and planned to scare his neighbors went viral on social media!
The boy, who lives in West Jaya Indonesia initially plans to do the prank for his Youtube channel! He and his friends were caught in the act when they were busy filming!
The Jakarta Post reported that the boy was caught shirtless and only wearing short pants while his face and body covered in white powder.
“He ran and crouched behind a bush to hide. But his body was all white and made him noticeable,” he added.”
According to folk tales, a toyol is a goblin-like demon with green body who causes trouble and stole money from people.
