3 More Wuhan Virus Cases Reported, Bringing A Total Of 7 In Malaysia

This matter is getting bigger and bigger. With people now wearing protective masks every time and everywhere, and parents restricting their kids to go to packed places, Malaysians are worried on how worse could this catastrophe could be.

And yesterday—January 28th—the country’s Health Director-General Noor Hisham Abdullah confirmed that Malaysia has become a victim of the virus once again when three more cases were reported in the country, bringing a total of seven!

All seven cases involve Chinese nationals, with the three new cases includes a four-year-old child (currently treated at Langkawi), a 52-year-old man (under doctor’s surveillance in Johor Bahru) and a mother of two kids whom previously had confirmed to be infected.

The infectious and health-threatening virus which started in the capitol of Wuhan in China’s Hubei province has since spread to more than 10 other areas with United States, France and Australia included.

In China, this disease had taken the lives of 130 victims and had infected more than 5,000 people in the nation.

Malaysia has now stepped up its screening checks at all entry points into the country and had temporarily suspended the granting of visas for all residents from China’s Hubei province.
