Previously, Remy Ishak had revealed in an interview that he is still not ready in committing to marriage as he is traumatized by his parents’ broken relationship. The parents had their divorce when Remy was 13 years old, and due to that split, Remy broke ties with his father.

However three years ago, Remy starred in a movie ‘Pulang’ produced by Primeworks Studios and owing to the title, the Malayan Hero managed to reconcile with his father. It was all because the film tells a story of losing a father, hence Remy took the chance to get back in contact with the late Ishak Bin Idris.
