According to Allkpop, Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, and Donghae recently sat down for a cafe interview about their various activities this year.
During the interview, they were asked on the thoughts of the group’s current promotion with only 6 members, and Super Junior currently only having 11 members.
“In front of the TV in my house, there’s a photo of the 13-member Super Junior. I watched the H.O.T special on ‘Infinity Challenge’ recently, and that photo kept coming in view.
“I am wondering if we’ll be able to have a reunion stage with the 13 members some time in the future. We were 13 members when we sang ‘Sorry, Sorry’ in 2009.”
SUJU is not complete without all 13 members!
When Leeteuk was asked when was the last time all 11 members of Super Junior got together, he responded:
“In my memory, it was at a Chinese restaurant right before I went to enlist in the military. That was 2012.”
Then, the leader continued to explain that there might be a possible chance for all 11 members to stand on stage in 2019, which is after Super Junior’s maknae, Kyuhyun is discharged from the military.
Eunhyuk also said:
“Even outside of promotions, I think it will have to be next year before the 11 of us can get together privately, too.”
After ‘Sorry Sorry’, many ELFs wished for 13 members reunion as wey hope to see Hangeng and Kibum reunite with other SUJU members.
Hangeng currently doing well in China as an actor and solo artist, and Kibum is currently an actor too. He has starred in many films and dramas.
Meanwhile, Super Junior will be having a comeback with their new repackaged album next month.
Though we hope for a 13-member reunion, let us continue to cheer the current 6 members who are actively carrying Super Junior’s name throughout the whole promotion.
