If you’re walking around town and spot someone who resembles Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, it’s probably her because the 32-year-old is currently in town.
The high profile actress announced her arrival onto our shores through Instagram with a photo depicting the iconic twin towers, leaving local fans and a few celebrities thrilled with excitement.
The photo, which was paired with a caption “Selamat Datang” further confirms that the actress is here, but her reason of visit is unknown.
Among the stream of comments from Netizens welcoming her to Malaysia, a few local celebrities chimed in to wish her a warm welcome as well.
Actress Wawa Zainal said: “Welcome to Malaysia. Kalau la dapat jumpa..” (If only we get to meet)
Another actress Bella Dally’s reaction was pure shock: “OMG she’s here?!”
Meanwhile actress Datin Seri Umie Aida added another welcome wish and said “Selamat datang.”
This wouldn’t be Deepika’s first visit on our shores as the xXx: Return of Xander Cage actress previously made a visit back in June 2014, for a shoot with a notable brand.
