‘Black Panther’ is Marvel Comic’s latest superhero movie. Positive reviews and praises were given to it just days after the movie hit the theatre.
Although the cast of the movie consists of almost all African American actors and actresses, the background music and quality of the movie are the key elements that won the heart of viewers.
The movie itself has already broken many records in North America as it earned a total of US$2.18 Million dollars (RM852,028,453) after it was premiered in the country.
When ‘Black Panther’ aired in Malaysia, it is being aired as one of the Chinese New Year’s must watch movie due to the festive season.
Despite many other Chinese New Year movies being aired at the same time, ‘Black Panther’ still took the lead with total of RM18,000,00 tickets sold!
WOW! This is amazing!
‘Black Panther’ is said to be the best superhero movie of all time. It easily knocked out other opponents such as ‘Iron Man’, ‘Logan’, ‘The Avengers’, ‘Thor 3: Ragnarok’ and ‘Spiderman: Homecoming’.
Besides, this movie is also one of the highest praised superhero movie as it has the best ticket sales among all. It takes over ‘Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’, which previously held the title as best superhero movie.
For IMAX ticket sales, the final sales result is not out yet but an officer of IMAX said that ticket sales for ‘Black Panther’ is the best among other Marvel superhero movies.
The official screening of the movie was on last Thursday and ticket sales have already achieved US$25,200 (RM98,491), which is 2 times higher than ‘Deadpool’!
With great responses from both critics and viewers, ‘Black Panther’ achieved praises from the previous First Lady of the United States too.
Michelle Obama said on her official twitter account:
“Congrats to the entire
#blackpanther team! Because of you, young people will finally see superheroes that look like them on the big screen.
“I loved this movie and I know it will inspire people of all backgrounds to dig deep and find the courage to be heroes of their own stories.”
Another funny incident happened in the United States where Atlanta’s ‘Regal Atlantic Station’ had an awkward moment when airing ‘Black Panther’.
The story goes like this, as the cinema was supposed to air ‘Black Panther’, it accidentally aired ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ instead!
Viewers in the cinema said that the wedding scene between Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan played instead of the expected Marvel Studios logo. Phew~ Luckily it wasn’t the sensual parts!
After 10 minutes, the cinema realised that they had made an error and quickly aired the correct movie.
Nevertheless, ‘Black Panther’ is still hands down the best superhero movie so far!
Just by looking at the ticket sales all the over the world, it’s no joke. For those who have not watch this movie in the cinema, you better get your tickets now. You will surely not be disappointed.
