Malaysia’s local animated film, Ejen Ali The Movie got a major thumbs up from Malaysia’s beloved Prime Minister, Tun Mahathir Mohamad.
Tun Mahathir took to his Instagram to show how amazed he was with the quality of Ejen Ali The Movie, commenting that it was on par with other international animation movies, Tun M even gave it 5/5 stars!!
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali graced a special screening of the blockbuster animated film ‘Ejen Ali The Movie’ at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s GSC Cinemas.
Ejen Ali The Movie, a co-production between MPB’s Primeworks Studios and WAU Animation hit RM 13 million at the box office, one week after its theatrical release. It now holds the top spot for the highest-grossing opening day for a local animated film.

The film follows teenage agent spy Ali as he has to uncover a mystery that threatens the city of Cyberjaya and risking loyalty to his secret agency MATA. Ali is surprised to discover that he is no longer the only master of the Infinity Retinal Intelligence System (IRIS) gadget since MATA has now upgraded to Iris Neo for all MATA agents.
When the new invention leads Ali to question his place and usefulness to MATA, he is approached by a rogue figure who claims to know about a surprising personal connection to Ali. Risking his loyalty to MATA, Ejen Ali embarks on a thrilling chase to unravel these mysterious links.
