Shuk Sahar’s strategy in using the Nur 2 story line at the Bintang Bersama Bintang 2019 (BBB2019) finale brought upon his winning the competition last night.
When xtra met with Shuk after he was crowned the champion, he was overwhelmed with gratitude, especially to his partners Jihan Muse and Azhan Rani.
He told xtra,
“It was difficult for me to coax Jihan in the beginning as she wasn’t interested in joining any sort of comedy contests anymore. Alhamdulillah, after I cajoled her over and over again, both Jihan and Azhan agreed to do it.”
Shuk, whose real name is Mohammad Shukri Mohammed Sahar was one of the contestants whom received many praises each week throughout BBB 2019.
Shuk played the role of Ustaz Adaam in his comedic act, while Jihan was Nur, and Azhan played the very much hated character, Ustaz Syed Hamadi.
Shuk’s win saw the loss of four other contestants; Achey, 33, Sharif, 29, Mamak Puteh, 34, and Chiwan, 33.
BBB 2019 was broadcasted live on TV3 every Sunday evening with all the contestants having won RM10,000 at least once each week while it was judged by Saiful Apek and Mark Adam, and hosted by Elly Mazlein.
