100% Leader Seo Min Woo Passes Away at Age 33!

Billboard reported that the leader of KPOP boy band 100%, Seo Min Woo, passed away on March 25th at the age of 33.

He was found unconscious in his home in Gangnam, Seoul and when paramedics arrived, they announced him dead at the scene. Min Woo apparently suffered a cardiac arrest which lead to his death.

Since debuting with 100% back in 2012, the group has seen success in the industry. As for Min Woo, he gained fame even before joining the group for his multiple acting stints.

TOP Media, the group’s agency released a statement which read,

“We regret to share this sudden and heartbreaking news. On March 25th, 100% member, Seo Min Woo, left us.

“The deceased was found to have passed away from cardiac arrest in his home in Gangnam, Seoul. Paramedics were called but he was already dead.”

“His family, the 100% members, and the TOP Media artists and staff members are all grief-stricken and in mourning from the unexpected, sad news.

“Min Woo was the eldest member of 100% and he has been leading the other members well. He truly loved the members and fans.

“Everyone who knows Min Woo personally feels even more sad because we know how tender and sincere he was.

“The funeral will be held quietly according to the will of the family.”

100% is supposed to hold concerts in Japan in late April but there’s no news thus far about any cancellations or postponement.
