2019 is definitely one of the worst year for K-Pop.
It was only few months back when quite a number of boy group members depart from their groups; Monsta X, We In The Zone, The Boyz and Stray Kids. And today we, once again, receive another shocking news of another member-departure.
This time around it’s a girl group Cherry Bullet from FNC Entertainment.
Cherry Bullet has only debuted earlier this year in January with ‘Q&A’ which rewarded them a lot of attention from fans. Despite the group having quite a noticeable image for this year, today—December 13th 2019, FNC Entertainment announced that three of the members are leaving the group.
The previously 10-member girl group will now regroup as 7 members.
The official statement made by FNC Entertainment was released via their official website.
❝Hello, this is FNC Entertainment.
Our artist Cherry Bullet is planning to regroup as 7 members and re-enter promotions.
After a lengthy discussion with members Mirae, Kokoro and LinLin, we have come to a decision to end their activities with Cherry Bullet and to terminate their exclusive contracts.
Our hearts are heavy as we deliver such sudden news to fans who cherish Cherry Bullet. The three members arrived at this decision after discussing the matter with us.
We will do our best so that the newly regrouped Cherry Bullet can return to promotions with good music as soon as possible.
We ask for your warm cheers for the future of Cherry Bullet, Mirae, Kokoro and LinLin. Thank you.❞
