Fellow member Key just recently enlisted on March 4th, 2019 but fans aren’t too surprised that Minho will be following suit so soon.
According to Allkpop, the rapper of the group has applied to join the Republic of Korea Marine Corps at the end of January.
He is currently awaiting the results of his application but regardless of it, he will still be joining the military around mid-April.
Minho’s representative told the press,
“For a long time, Minho has planned to enlist in the military as a member of the marine corps.
“He is looking forward to the opportunity to fulfil his military obligations as part of the marines, as he wanted to.”
Any fan of SHINee will know just how truly competitive the 28-year-old can really be. He is nicknamed Flaming Charisma Minho for his stunningly competitive nature which has brought upon an air of passion unlike any other.
Knowing just how much he loves taking on challenges, it comes to no surprise that he chose the marine corps out of any other disciplines in the military. The marine corps is one of the toughest lines to join in.
