That’s why Spotify created Self-Love, a playlist made specifically about appreciating a supremely important person in your life: you.
The music app noticed that streams of self-love themed playlists have been on the rise, with listening increasing about 72%.
Plus, the most popular time of day to stream self-love playlists is the morning, suggesting that people turn to them to help set the right tone for the day.
The green-logo app looked to the listeners’ playlists for their favourite tracks about wellness, relaxation, self-care, and self-love.
The 30 picks featured on the Self-Love playlist include some of the most popular user picks globally — from Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Yourself” and Panic at the Disco’s “High Hopes” to throwback jams like Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good”.
These songs acknowledge themes of resilience, positivity and survival.
