“He’s A Class Of His Own”- Dato Lee Chong Wei’s Wax Figure Will Be Displayed At Madame Tussauds Hong Kong

He’s truly a legend..

When Dato Lee Chong Wei announced his retirement from the badminton world in 2019, it really came as a surprised and to be honest, we couldn’t get over his retirement..just yet. We feel like we have lost a one in a million  shiny star among us because he’s truly irreplaceable. To many of us Malaysia, he’s more than just world’s badminton player, he’s a legend. 

Proving that he’s a class of his own, The Madame Tussauds museum in Hong Kong has announced that they are planning to have Dato Lee Chong Wei wax figure, as an honor gesture for the former badminton champion. Well,  there’s no one who deserve such a respect and admiration other than Dato LCW himself. 

Dato LCW took to his Instagram to share this happy news with his fans. Check this out!

Meanwhile, The Madame Tussauds museum in Hong Kong hopes that Dato LCW wax figure would attract more sport fans around the world.

Dato LCW has shared that his wax figure will be unveiled around the second quarter of this year. So, If you’re planning to go to the museum in the middle of this year, don’t forget to pay “him” a visit. 

Prior to Dato LCW, Malaysia’s actress Michelle Yeoh was the first Malaysian to have given such an honor. Neverthless, we are so proud of LCW!
