Today is a very special day as it is a rare occurrence when the annular solar eclipse day and the first day of the 12th lunar month come together?? Today, the Moon moved into position to obscure the Sun at 1.28pm on Thursday (Dec 26) and form a “ring of fire”, in what has been dubbed the “greatest astronomical event in Singapore”. The next annular solar eclipse will only happen again in Singapore in 2063. I probably be gone by then. Hence, take a step back, let go of the little things in life that made us unhappy, look at the bigger picture and strive tobe happy & positive at all times, and treasure our loved ones and the present moment. Remember life impermanence as taught by Holy Dharma ??? Thanks much PM Lee sharing this very special amazing shot with the super trees in frame ( @Garden by the Bay, Spore). #auspicious #feelingsmall #boxingday #annularsolareclipse #eclipse #onceInALifetimeExperience #solareclipse2019 #solareclipsesg #Singapore #phenomenon #universe #amazing phenomenon #26December2019 #26122019

Accidentally used a 3-sec exposure to create a silky looking cloud background. The sun was very dimly lit behind cloud cover so hopefully I didn’t burn my camera’s sensor. . . . . . #solareclipse #solareclipse2019 #sun #moon #sky #palawanbeach #singapore #canonsg #letsguide #ethanycasingapore

#Solareclipse #PartialSolarEclipse #Solar #Sun #Astronomy #Astrophotography #KLCC #Kualalumpur #SuriaKLCC #GradientLok #GradientLifeOfPhoto

In our opinion, each photo represents its own unique and ingenuity ambiance that managed to capture the natural-phenomenon beautifully. And if you missed this one, unfortunately the next solar eclipse will take place on 21st May 2031, so you’ll have to wait another 12 years more to witness this phenomenon!
