The RIUH weekend is back this weekend and it’s all about Chinese New Year for their first event of 2019.
On the 26th and 27th January, head on over to the Gasket Alley for a weekend of fun with family and friends.
With a longer list of retail stalls available, you’ll be able to shop for necessities for CNY. From gorgeous clothes to yummy cookies, there’s something for everyone.
Of course, rather than just shopping, you can also join in on a couple of workshops and learn the art of embroidery, how to make your own clay jewellery, etc.
While you’re at it, don’t forget to catch some special cultural shows in lieu of the Chinese celebration such as the Cantonese Opera, Face Changing Dance and more.
Certainly, Chinese New Year won’t be complete without tossing of the Yee Sang and Lion Dance. There will be a special performance by the amazing Kwong Ngai Lion Dance to brighten up the entire weekend.
Meanwhile, the endless list of foods available will be a weekend of feasting.
It is indeed a weekend for the entire family irregardless of age, so don’t miss out on the festive themed weekend.
