It has entered the fourth day of Nora Anne Quoirin‘s search and rescue operation, which shocked the whole nation when the Irish teenager went missing on last Sunday — August 4th, in Dusun resort Seremban.
Ever since, authorities across Malaysia and the Embassy of Ireland have actively involved in the SAR ops.
“Nora’s family wish to express their deepest gratitude for the Royal Malaysia Police force, the search and rescue teams, and emergency services, for all they have done for us in this difficult time”
The family also took the chance to express their utmost thankfulness to the Embassy of Ireland, the local community, the staff at the hotel and even anyone who had helped in finding Nora. The French, British and Irish police had also participated into the search.
“We are completely overwhelmed by the support we have received from all over the world,” they said in a statement issued by Lucie Blackman Trust, who handles all media inquiries for the family.
Nora Anne is a 15-year-old girl who has special needs and her sudden disappearance had been an extremely traumatic time for the family.
“But we must remain hopeful. And we ask everyone to keep Nora in their thoughts, and to continue to support the ongoing search for her”
According to report, Nora Anne was with her family on Saturday — August 3rd, checking in the property. However, she was found missing from her room, which she shared with her other siblings, the next morning.
It was believed that Nora Anne had ‘went out’ from the bedroom’s window, which can only be opened from the inside.
There was no further news regarding Nora Anne’s disappearance but Malaysians’ prayers are always be with Nora Anne and the family.
