We love some surprisingly good news don’t we? And nothing beats good surprising news than the recent engagement announcement made by Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas on their Instagram accounts. *screams*
Yes, Jophie is for real ya’ll!
Stating simply, “She said yes” and “I said yes” on their respective Instagram accounts, their announcement has sent the internet into a coma with many heartbroken comments coming in from fan girls and boys all over the world. We feel you, WE DO… *sobs*
Infamous for keeping their relationship private with very minimal PDA for the paps to devour, the DNCE lead singer and Game of Thrones Stark lady have finally put a ring on it after they started dating last fall.
And a number of their celeb friends have also rushed to congratulate the 28 year old Jonas and 21 year old Turner over the happy news. Both Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez have been spotted sending heartwarming messages to the couple.
Demi could not be happier for Joe whom she recalled to have dated for a month or two on her latest YouTube documentary, “Simply Complicated”.
She commented, “HUGE CONGRATS!!!!! Sooooo happy for the both of you!!!!” Meanwhile, Selena wrote a simple, “Congratulations” on the former Jonas Brothers’ Insta engagament post.
While Demi and Joe have remained good friends after the quick fling, (and it totally shows on the post), Joe’s exes, Gigi Hadid and Taylor Swift, still have not said anything over the happy news.
Maisie Williams, Sophie’s GoT BFF’s reaction however, has been one to die for!
She especially dedicated a memorable Insta congratulatory post where she wrote: “Congratulations to my beautiful girlfriend on her engagement ???? This is just one of MANY life milestones we’ll share. Love you both ????
