GLEE ACTOR MARK SALLING HANGS HIMSELF TO DEATH IN FEAR OF GOING TO JAIL

Suicide isn’t the answer to problems but for Mark Salling, it was far more complicated than usual.

On January 30, 2018, the actor was found dead near a riverbed in Sunland-Turjunga neighbourhood of Los Angeles where he lived, MTV reported.

It is believed that he committed suicide due to possibly being fearful of going to jail or because his reputation was tarnished.

In 2015, the actor was caught possessing child pornography and more than 50,000 pictures of child porn in his computer and thumb drive. Apparently, his ex-girlfriend tipped off the authorities.

In December 2017, he pleaded guilty for the aforementioned crime and he had to register as a sex offender. He was awaiting his sentencing which would take place in March this year before he was found dead.

He would have had to stay in jail for about 5 to 7 years.

Mark’s attorney, Michael J. Proctor told the press,

“Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgement.

“The Salling family appreciates the support they have been receiving and asks for their privacy to be respected.”

This tragedy is most likely caused by the fact that his name and face are too well-known to the public, and he doesn’t have the advantage of anonymity.

It is also common for prisoners to bully paedophiles and child sex offenders in jail.

If you’re unfamiliar with Mark and his works, he was best known for his role as Noah “Puck” Puckerman in the drama comedy called Glee.

The show is based on a typical high school setting in the USA where there are different cliques who obviously did not get along. However, through singing and music, all of them were brought together.

Mark’s character, Puck, was the typical bully and playboy who enjoyed injecting fear into the people he deemed ‘losers’.

Unfortunately, Mark isn’t the first cast member to have passed away. The man who played Finn Hudson, Cory Monteith also sadly passed away after he passed away from heroin overdose in 2013.

A few hours after the news of Mark’s death broke out, co-star Matthey Morrison, who played Will Schuester, paid tribute by uploading a picture on Instagram.

The image was of him standing in between both deceased actors. And his caption was a frowning emoji in between two angel emojis, to signify himself with Mark and Cory.

Well, we hope that Mark may rest in peace now.
