The competition is getting tougher in 2020!
Apparently for 2020, the “Big 3” that we are so accustomed to will making a slight changes into its “holy trinity”. The South Korea’s top 3 entertainment companies that has been long reside within the circles—SM Entertainment, JYP Entertainment and YG Entertainment—will be having a new contender for this new decade.
As expected by the phenomenal success of BTS both within the country as well as internationally, Big Hit Entertainment will be the new addition to the “Big 3” group, with YG Entertainment leaving from the list. This is because for 2020, the new revamped top 3 agencies have so many things in store!
It is reported that most SM artists will continue to promote their activities into 2020 with various comebacks from groups, solos, units and more. Not only that, there has been also news of a new girl group that will be released from SM Entertainment. In terms of foreign activities, groups such as WayV and SuperM are also expected to have schedules.
JYP (read that in whispers) has been growing marvelously with their groups TWICE, Day6, Stray Kids, ITZY and GOT7. It is also reported that all these groups will be heading overseas to meet with fans this January and February. Plus, it is also reported that these groups will be staying active in making comebacks in 2020 and bring new music to their fans.
Big Hit Entertainment
It’s definitely will be a havoc year for Big Hit as BTS is reported to be making their long-awaited comeback this February. With their massive fan base all over the world, it can be certain that this comeback will be nothing short of legendary. Not only that, Big Hit’s rookie boy group TXT will also be continuing their promotions as their fandom increases in Korea and overseas.
With all these schedules set in 2020, it’ll definitely be another busy year in the world of K-Pop!
