SHINee’s Minho Rushed to Hospital After Sustaining Injury During Filming of Jangsari 9.15

SHINee’s Minho was recently rushed to the hospital after sustaining an injury to his face!

According to Koreaboo, he was in the middle of filming Jangsari 9.15, a historical film about the Jangsa Landing Operation where 772 soldiers with an average age of 17-years-old were sent into war with just two weeks of training.

The war film involved a lot of fighting and special effects as part of the action scenes.

Unfortunately, during one of the scenes which had some special effects in it, Minho received an injury to his face from the flying debris.

SM Entertainment told the press,

“During a filming in Yeongduk on the 2nd, [Minho] suffered abrasions on the left side of his face due to the flying shards from the special effects props.

“He was immediately sent to the emergency room for treatment and we plan to watch over his progress as he receives the treatment.”

Luckily, it didn’t seem too severe and there was a break in between filming too, giving him some time to rest.

“The film was scheduled to take a 3 to 4-day rest for preprations and moving. Minho will be returning to film once he receives full treatment and is completely stable.”

Though the incident is unfortunate, many fans are still looking forward to the star-studded movie. The cast includes Kim Myung Min, Kwak Si Yang and even Megan Fox among many more.

The movie will be released in 2019.
