Here are Two Places You Can Consider for Your Christmas Feast

The Holiday Season is fast approaching and it’s high time we make plans for it. From an array of travel choices around the world, why not opt for a cosy and warm Christmas this year?

Allow the glow of the city light up your lovely long weekend with loved ones this year as you spend it in Hong Kong. Of course, don’t forget to indulge yourselves in a wonderful feast while over there.

Here are two hot spots to check out:

The Upper House

One of the city’s most celebrated hotels, The Upper House will celebrate the season with decadent feasts and special room benefits.

Chef Gray Kunz of Café Gray Deluxe will serve up delectable modern European cuisine, including a festive take on their classic Afternoon Tea, and wine pairing meals on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, with menu highlights including Beef Wellington with Truffle-Foie Gras Sauce and Tangerine Semifreddo with Nougatine-Cranberry Compôte.

Set against the panoramic backdrop of Victoria Harbour and the city’s incredible annual firework display, Café Gray Deluxe creates the perfect atmosphere for a spectacular New Year’s Eve countdown.

Highlights of the exquisitely designed Gala Dinner menu include Cold Smoked Mount Cook Salmon Fleurettes, Roasted Pigeon with Foie Gras Emulsion, and Chocolate Marquise with Williams Pear.

EAST, Hong Kong

Encouraging playfulness and individuality, EAST, Hong Kong plans to see out 2018 in sustainable style, with eco-conscious decorations and a festive line-up of events.

In the spirit of giving, EAST will reintroduce their Christmas Village, which this year sees decorations created using recycled fallen logs from Typhoon Mangkhut.

Complementing the eco-decorations, Feast (Food by EAST), will offer festive feasts on the 24th and 25th December; the unlimited menu is designed to evoke a celebratory atmosphere and encourage social dining.

The climax of the season, New Year’s Eve, will see a ‘City of Stars’ themed celebration at Sugar (Bar.Deck.Lounge), inspired by box office hit movie, La La Land.

Both the food and locations are worth enjoying. It’s best to make reservations ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
