All hail the queen! By this point, who wouldn’t recognize who Beyoncé is! She is the ever iconic legend famous for not only her music releases, but her influence in fashion and beauty!

Beyoncé’s figure is every woman’s dream! Her figure just screams healthy! Unlike any other celebrities, Beyoncé is recognized for her beautifully healthy figure.

But apparently experts have recently warned that her ’22 Days Nutrition’ vegan diet plan may actually be lethal to the body as it skimps on vital nutrients and calories.

No carbs! No sugar! No meat, fish and dairy! Allegedly those have helped the pop icon lose weight after giving birth.

However, a British dietitian informed BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire programme that testimonies of the diet had experienced ‘tiredness and exhaustion’ from it.

Daniel O’Shaughnessy, spokesman for the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) declared that the diet plan could be dangerous for the average person to follow without a team of nutritionists and trainers like Beyoncé has.

The diet plan that was created by Beyoncé’s own friend cum personal trainer — Marco Borges would consist of just 1,400 calories per day, when adults typically need between 2,000 and 2,500 kcal as minimum.

BANT’s Mr O’Shaughnessy declared that the diet leaves out vital nutrients such as iron, vitamin B12 and protein.

“Beyoncé is selling a drem,” Mr. O’Shaughnessy said.

Some recipes that are included in the diet plan are vegan tacos on lettuce leaves; sweet potato and chickpeas with broccoli and tahini; pasta in low-fat pesto; porridge with almond milk, bananas and cinnamon.

Sunflower seed butter and strawberry toast, jalapeno pumpkin soup, red lentil dahl with toast, a mango chutney sandwich and Indonesian tempeh with brown rice are also included in the diet plan.

The University of California Los Angeles’ Dr. Dana Hunnes advised that the food themselves are in fact healthy, but even for weight loss and maintenance, portion sizes need to be increased or add some snacks.

So what do you think? Do you think Beyoncé is at fault for promoting such unhealthy lifestyle? Or do you think this diet is a good option in order to achieve such desirable figure like Beyoncé? What are your thoughts?
