TGV INTRODUCES LIGHTSPEED LOUNGE FOR STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI PREMIER

On December 13, 2017, Star Wars: The Last Jedi premiered nationwide. Many Jedi wannabes flooded TGV cinemas all over the country to catch this epic screening. Anyone can enhance their experience by enjoying the sights and sounds of TGV Cinemas’ Lightspeed Lounge.

To make this movie even more special, TGV Sunway Velocity hosted a by-invitation-only event just for all the Star Wars fans out there. The festive celebration launched a two weeklong exhibit inspired by Cant0 Bight, a very special city from the movie itself.

Warning! Some spoilers ahead, so don’t say that we didn’t warn you, ok.

Canto Bight is a playground for the extremely rich and famous in the entire galaxy. The city houses a massive casino, a racing ring where people can bet on the winner, lavish foods, etc.

To mimic the city, TGV decided to prep a similar theme. The area along with the foods were all as lavish as ever.

Besides that, the performances were top notch too. There was a fashion show where models walked the runway in Star Wars-inspired outfits tailored by 

There was even a lightsaber combat between Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Rey, a Stormtrooper, and more. It’s safe to say absolutely everyone were extremely hyped to watch the movie after that.

After all the exhilarating action, guests were allowed to cool down a bit as a string quartet performance played in the background while everyone ate. Betul-betul atas weyh!

Meanwhile, guests could also indulge in a Virtual Reality experience as a VR-ready Star Wars game was prepared on a Play Station 4. Right next to the gaming station was a photobooth where we could take one of those freeze-cam type of pictures.

As the clock struck 9pm, fans started filling up the IMAX theatre with the 3D glasses on, eagerly waiting for the epic film to start.

Well, I’m not gonna give anymore spoilers. Let’s just say there were so many OMG moments, tearjerking scenes, and WTF parts as well. An absolute must watch for anyone, even the none fans.

Watching it in 3D will give anyone an immersive feeling, what more with a massive screen like in IMAX cinemas. So, for the best movie experience, go on over to TGV IMAX Cinemas, ok!
