Why Not Celebrate Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day in Hong Kong

Rising high above Pacific Place in Admiralty, The Upper House boasts stunning views of the city, greenery and Victoria Harbour, making it the perfect vantage point to celebrate the special occasions of Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day.

Select from the beautifully curated menus at Café Gray Deluxe, a 21st Century ‘grand café’, and roll into bed in one of The World’s Sexiest Bedrooms, as chosen by luxury hotel travel club, Mr & Mrs Smith.

CHINESE NEW YEAR

Welcome in the Year of the Pig at Café Gray Deluxe and enjoy the spectacular 23-minute firework show on 6 February, the second day of Chinese New Year.

A refreshing Chilled Soup of Ginger and Sago with Pear Sorbet, as well as Milk Chocolate Mousse with Citrus Compôte and Mandarin Gelato complete the occasion.

Guests can also enjoy seasonally inspired cocktails at Café Gray Bar.

Blossom – a warm Jasmine tea-based cocktail with hues of pink and infused with berries, and Pocket Money – the refined sweetness from red dates is complemented by the acidity of passionfruit and elderflower – the perfect drink for a prosperous year to come.

Embrace the New Year with the Chinese New Year room package, available from 27 January to 15 February.

Rates starting from HK$4,600 with a minimum two-night stay, benefits include daily breakfast at Café Gray Deluxe, HK$500 House credit and return airport transfers for the price of a one-way transfer.

Guests can also partake in the festivities with a traditional lion dance taking place on Tuesday 12 February, 9am at the hotel entrance.
